RETIRING OFFERING On 25 February at St Stephen's, there will be retiring offerings for the Christian Blind Mission. One our elders, Dr Andy Pyott, who has worked with this organisation in Cambodia for a number of years, and is still involved in their work in Indonesia, recently told our men's group about the work they do to save the sight of some of the poorest and most vulnerable people around the world. CBM is an international Christian disability and development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and at risk of disabilities in the poorest countries of the world. For more information, please call Andy or visit www.cbmuk.org.uk
RECORDINGS OF SERVICES CD recordings of the St Stephen's services are now available, and can be picked up from The Olive Grove from the Tuesday after each service. If you know of someone who would like a recording, please do take a CD. It would also be useful if could you let the minister know you are taking a CD for someone, or if you would like a CD delivered to you.
MONDAY CLUB. The Monday Club has resumed for the Spring session. It is an opportunity for fellowship and conversation to which all are welcome. We meet on Monday afternoons at 2.00pm in St Stephen's Church Hall. Further details from Isobel Allan,.
CROSSREACH The latest edition of Circle of Care and the Prayer Letter for February - May 2012 are both available at the Church door.
TREASURER VACANCY Alan Nelson has tendered his resignation as Treasurer with effect from the end of March 2012. We are now looking for someone to take over this very important role and if you are familiar with figures, PAYE and basic book-keeping you could be just the person to assist the congregation in the role. Help will be provided with year end accounts. We are pleased to say that Alan has indicated his will continue as Chairman of the Congregational Board Informal enquiries should be made to Alan.
HEALING SERVICE There will be a Healing Service in St Stephen’s Church on Sunday 12th February at 4pm to which all are welcome. (Contact Ruth Martin)
